A mailbox is a way to receive and collect mail without your personal details being shared. If you are a local plumber; builder; solicitor; accountant; small charity; online business or other entity and you don’t want to have your home address on branding or on invoices, then purchasing a mailbox not only makes your business look more professional with a physical main street address, but allows you to keep your personal address and business address separate. You could also be a student and not want to have your mail going to the same address as your accommodation. At Mailbox Rental we provide a secure and safe way to take delivery and store your mail. As all of our mailboxes are inside the Post office, you can take advantage of the services they provide.

If you use for mailbox for business, you will need a business mailbox. A personal mailbox is only to be used for personal mail.

Yes! Our mailboxes are very secure. Each mailbox has its own digital combination lock. All of our mailboxes are kept inside the Post Office where they are closely monitored.

When mail arrives at the Post Office, your mail will be handled by Post Office employees who will then post your mail into your mailbox. If you opt for a virtual mailbox, Post Office will forward your mail. Post office will charge you for this service. 

At the moment, we can’t tell you when mail has arrived, but we’re rapidly working on a system that will let you know soon as you have mail to collect.  

Once you have purchased a mailbox. You’ll be sent an email from us asking to upload proof of ID via our secure partner YOTI. They have a variety of options to prove your identification. Soon as you’ve purchased your mailbox, your mailbox will be live straight away. Once the ID, business forms and checks have been carried out we will send you your 4 digit pin and locker number. 

Once payment has gone through, you’ll then be asked to provide identification and fill out a business or customer form online. Once these checks have been approved you’ll receive an email with your code within 24 hours, usually a lot sooner.

Yes! We can forward your mail to anywhere in the world. Post offices charges vary depending what your sending and where.  

Yes! The Post Office can store your parcel at around 50p per day. We’ll need to obtain a quote prior to the parcel arriving which will be made payable to the Post Office.

Our venues have different opening hours. Usually 9am to 5:30pm. The advantage for you is that it keeps your mail safe and secure. If you can’t collect your mail during opening hours, we can always forward it to you at a small additonal cost.

Of course! This will be handled by the Post Office. You let us know your requirements and we’ll get this posted for you.

Absolutely! Not all businesses and personal customers have cash up front.

If you forget your code, you’ll need to drop us a message or call us and we’ll resend the code to your associated email address.

If you need to change your email address we’ll first need to do a simplified identication check.  

No unfortunately you can’t use the address to obtain any financial services such as a loan.

We believe in transparency. You can cancel your contract anytime. However, it is non-refundable. You must give us at least 3 weeks notice. Those who are opting to pay monthly, the minimum contract term is 3 months. If you cancelled after 1 month, you would still need to pay for the remaining 2 months. If you cancelled at month 6, as long as you have given us notice we’ll make no more payments come out of your account.
